What’s left of a vacant restaurant building, recently razed.

This shed and the house that went with it were razed the same day I took this photo. I’ve noticed that several abandoned homes nearby have been demolished lately. I’ve photographed many of them, and now I’m glad I did.

Guess what I got for Mother’s Day? A new vintage camera! I’ve already read the manual and loaded it with film. My father-in-law bought this camera in 1955 while he was stationed in Germany in the military. It’s well used but very functional. I’m so tickled! And I feel quite honored that they passed it on to me. I have the BEST in-laws:)
